Shelter Events

There are a lot of local events happening at shelters around Northeast Ohio. These events are uses to promote pets, raise money for the shelter, or just let the public know that the shelters are out there for their benefit. Most of the time, the only way to find out about these events is through the shelter websites or visiting the shelter site itself. Small shelters don't have the funding to promote their events on television or even the radio, like some of the larger shelters can.

In this blog spot, I'd like to invite visitors to post up information about shelter events that they know about. Anything from a knick-knack sale to a discount on adult cats is appropriate, so spread the word!

Example:

The Cleveland APL's annual calendar contest is currently ongoing. This is a fundraiser to help raise donations for the APL. Contestants can fill out a form and send in a picture to possibly be used in next year Cleveland APL Calendar. There is a $25 application fee (donation) with proceeds supporting the shelter. Want to see you pet as a celebrity with it's own calendar page? Now is their big chance!
